Liz Burba- Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (MFTA)
Liz is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Master's in Couple and Family Therapy in 2023. She is experienced in working with clients from a diverse array of cultural and demographic backgrounds. Liz has a professional background in international youth development work, and is passionate about empowering teenage clients through the cultivation of self-esteem and personal accountability. Liz also enjoys helping couple and family units to better understand their relationship dynamics so they can break free of unhealthy patterns that are keeping them stuck. She looks at every client, including individuals, through a systemic, relational lens. Her therapeutic work involves an eclectic mixture of approaches and interventions. Some of her favorite models include Narrative, Structural, Internal Family Systems, Satir Systemic Transformational, and Emotionally-Focused therapies.
