Group Therapy Options

  • Social Skills ABA Groups

    ABA Social skills groups are designed to meet the individual needs of each participant but within the context of a group of peers. Peer groups are developed based on matching needs, identified goals and objectives, and common interest areas. The hope is to support the development of social navigation skills and opportunities for healthy peer relationships.

  • Digital Therapy Groups

    Digital play therapy groups using platforms such as Minecraft and Fortnite as the digital platform or a DND group offer opportunities for similar age peers to work on the development of social navigation skills (cooperation, teamwork, problem solving, communication skills, flexibility, emotion regulation, and more).   • Therapeutic Game Based Groups-In Person

    Board games are a valuable tool in therapy promoting interaction and communication among participants. Engaging in structured gameplay allows individuals to practice social skills in a safe and supportive environment. Through taking turns, strategizing, and discussing game tactics, players enhance their ability to cooperate and resolve conflicts. Additionally, board games can help improve problem-solving skills and foster a sense of belonging within the group.

  • Perinatal Mental Health Support Groups

    Parenting support groups give a space for parents to engage with other parents (with similar age children) or throughout pregnancy; to gather resources, increase natural supports, and have a safe space to process everything that comes with the perinatal period. Groups are led by a therapist or intern and have an open format each week.

  • Neurodivergent Parent Support

    Neurodivergent Parent Support Group

    The Neurodivergent Parent Support Group is a safe space for neurodivergent parents. It provides emotional support, shared experiences, and understanding for unique parenting challenges.

    Participants discuss the needs of neurodivergent children, parenting strategies, and self-care. The group also shares resources on educational support, behavioral approaches, and community services.
