Cora King, LPCA

Welcome. I’m Cora Willis-King, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), and I believe that every person’s story deserves to be understood with care, compassion, and respect.

I work with children, adults, and families who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, life transitions, or the weight of past experiences. Together, we explore how your personal history has shaped who you are today — not to assign blame, but to create understanding, self-acceptance, and meaningful change.

As a doctoral student at Liberty University in developmental psychology specializing in childhood attachment and lifespan transitions, I bring both advanced research and heartfelt empathy into the therapy room. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and strengths.

My approach is collaborative and deeply respectful of your pace. Healing doesn’t happen through judgment — it happens through safety, insight, and connection. I am committed to helping you process past wounds, strengthen self-worth, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

When you’re ready, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation. Your story matters — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
