Kathleen Thornberry- Internship I student

Kathleen Thornberry is a dedicated Counseling Intern from Lindsey Wilson College with a strong focus on perinatal mental health. A proud member of Chi Sigma Iota, she is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and specializes in supporting individuals and families navigating perinatal mood disorders, including challenges related to pregnancy, fertility, infant loss, grief, anxiety, and depression.

Kathleen has completed the 2-day training through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and is currently a certified Postpartum Doula. She comes with extensive experience in supporting individuals with reproductive needs. Her goal is to become certified and continue to grow in her knowledge in this area.

She primarily works with adults. With a holistic approach to family care, Kathleen is passionate about providing compassionate and effective support for clients through life's most vulnerable moments.

Currently, Kathleen is running a Mental Health Parent Support group supporting parents through the various stages of development, personal mental health needs, and parenting.
